Not only are they pulling out of Formula One racing, but according to Honda spokesman Hideto Maehara, some automotive jobs will be cut in Britain and Japan, and 750 temporary workers in their Japanese facilities, including one motorcycle operation.

According to this AP Article, Honda may be feeling some economic pain from the global money pinch.
